Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Additional: Call and late call shifts required, approximately 5-6 per month depending on staffing
• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years as a Registered Nurse
• Locals and first-time travelers are accepted

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including 7-year history, education verification, and annual federal screenings
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunization or titer proof for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• Two professional references within the last 3 years
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

Additional Information

• Facility-specific forms and agreements must be completed prior to start
• Clear, passport-style photo required for badge
• Job descriptions required based on nursing degree (BSN or ASN/Diploma)
