• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (Thursday through Saturday or Sunday through Tuesday)
• Shift hours: 11:00 AM to 12:00 AM with a 1-hour break
• Total hours per week: 36

Job Description

• Operate Apex scanner; proficiency with GE systems required at minimum
• Perform diagnostic imaging in Radiology/Cardiology specialty

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
• New York State license in Radiography
• Certification by New York State to inject contrast media
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
• Maintain continuing education credits per ARRT requirements
• Minimum 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA Primary Source Verification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA Primary Source Verification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA Primary Source Verification required
• Current/active state license with no pending adverse action (NYS Radiology license)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable

Background and Screening Requirements

• Criminal background check within 60 days prior to assignment covering all locations lived, worked, or attended school in the past 7 years, including aliases
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, Social Security Verification, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List Search within 60 days prior to start
• Education Verification with primary source verification for all formal education listed
• 20-year employment application and work history verification with no gaps, in MM/YYYY format
• Two professional references within 2 years of start date

Health and Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 12 months prior to start including vital signs, review of systems, medical history, and clearance to work without restrictions
• Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start; PAPRs not accepted
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray per specified options within required timeframes
• Annual TB questionnaire completion
• Immunization or titer proof for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (titer and antigen testing; vaccination or signed declination if non-immune)
  • Hepatitis C screening within 6 months (if applicable)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Sept 3 – May 31) with no declinations accepted without approved exemption
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug test with chain of custody within 60 days prior to start (excluding marijuana)
• Vision screening (Snellen) within 12 months prior to start; corrective lenses noted if needed
• Color blind testing if applicable (after two failed online attempts)

Additional Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific orientation and training modules prior to or at start
• Signed confidentiality agreement, staff attestation, harassment factsheet, and code of conduct as required
• Compliance with state-specific exclusion lists and registry forms as applicable
• Annual required training modules completion within 30 days of start
