Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in San Francisco, California.
- ED HOLD POSITION; will float to MS/TELE when not being utilized in ED holding.
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30.
- Weekend rotation required.
- No on-call requirement.
- Contract length: 13 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California.
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
Role Details
- Performs clinical procedures including IV, Foley, and dressings.
- Uses tele monitoring and administers IV, vent, and medications safely.
- Documents assessments thoroughly.
- Provides patient and family education.
- Recognizes changes in patient condition.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
