Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Technologist

Location: Bellevue, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Work Setting: Emergency Department (ED) patients and inpatients only; no scheduled outpatients during this shift
• Work Alone: Tech will be working alone after midnight
• Start Date: Any Monday in December or January
• Return to Office (RTO): Up to 5 days maximum considered

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Certifications:

  • WA Radiological Technologist Certification (required)
  • ARRT CT Certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified, RQI not accepted
• Skills:

  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Social Security number (no physical card required)
• Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years, including SSN trace, county, state, federal, nationwide, sex offender, and international searches if applicable
• State License verification and copy (hard copy preferred but not required)
• Various competency exams with minimum passing scores (e.g., Core Parts I-III, OSHA, Medication/Pharmacology, Patient Restraints)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Immunizations and titers or proof of vaccination/declination for:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (highly preferred)
  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, proof of series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year (QGold, T-SPOT, or 2 PPDs) with specific protocols for positive TB history
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required year-round (deadline for updated documentation: November 19)
• Completion of facility-specific modules and trainings, including CMS Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) training annually
• Candidate must review and sign facility policies including Code of Conduct, Applicant Disclosure Statement, Confidentiality Policy, and Appearance/Dress Code
• References: At least two satisfactory references from previous employers within the last year, including evaluation of clinical competency and reliability (manager, supervisor, or charge RN references accepted)

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• The position requires working independently during overnight hours.
• Compliance with Washington state-specific background checks and court search requirements is mandatory.

This opportunity is ideal for a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, certified in WA, comfortable working independently overnight, and able to meet comprehensive compliance and documentation requirements.
