Respiratory Therapist (Temp)

Location: Bellefontaine, Ohio
Shift: Days

Job Summary

Provide basic and advanced respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under supervision. Responsibilities include patient assessments, education, therapy implementation, and evaluating therapy effectiveness. Collaborate actively with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team.

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Active Ohio or compact Respiratory Therapist license at time of submission
• Completion of registry exam within one year of graduation
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS (American Heart Association certifications must be active at start)
• Proficient in use of respiratory equipment including Blood Gas/Co-Oximetry Analyzers, Ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, Apnea monitors, Saturation monitors, Hemocue, ECG, and End Tidal CO2 monitors
• Skilled in patient assessment, medication administration, aerosol therapy, airway management and clearance, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, and auscultation of breath sounds
