Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Location: Port Angeles, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, primarily 8-hour shifts; 12-hour shifts as needed (1900-0730)
Average Hours: Approximately 35-40 hours per week
Patient Ratio:
- 4 Labor & Delivery patients
- 5 Postpartum patients
Job Description
Seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The role involves neonatal monitoring and care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. Float assignments are limited to sitter/helper roles only, with no direct Med-Surg, ICU, or ED assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license for Labor & Delivery specialty
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM) certification
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
- BLS (AHA) certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- STABLE certification preferred
Additional Information
- Experience with neonatal monitoring and postpartum care is essential
- Night shift availability required
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
