Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift

Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting. Ensure all care is provided in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Work under the direction of the Nursing Director to maintain the highest quality of care.

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Colorado
Minimum 3 years of experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other comparable institution
At least 3 years of Long Term Care experience, including experience within the last year
Skilled Nursing experience
Experience in supervisory roles
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required.
Position is located in a rural area without public transportation; reliable personal transportation is necessary.
Shift: Days.
