36 hours per week (.9 FTE)
Primarily night and weekend shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with possible day shift coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Work setting: Inpatient hospice unit with potential support for in-home hospice visits as needed

Provide comprehensive nursing care focused on comfort and symptom management for terminally ill patients
Administer medications and interventions as ordered by physicians
Continuously assess patient needs to ensure a dignified, comfortable end-of-life experience
Supervise and delegate personal care tasks to CNAs, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to care plans
Monitor CNA documentation for accuracy and provide mentorship and feedback
Participate in interdisciplinary team rounds and contribute to care planning and family education
Provide emotional support and guidance to families and caregivers during end-of-life care
Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and communications in compliance with regulatory standards
Follow infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, families, and staff
