CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a CT Technologist skilled in all areas of CT imaging, including diagnostic scans and invasive procedures. Experience with emergency department trauma and stroke imaging is required.

Unit Information

• Unit Type: CT Imaging
• Number of Beds: 800
• Staff per Shift:

  • Day: 5 technologists + supervisor
  • Evening: 4-5 technologists + radiology assistant
  • Night: 2-3 technologists + radiology assistant
• Equipment: GE Optima, 3 GE EVO, GE Revolution, Medrad Injectors
• EMR Systems: Cerner Rad Net, Phillips PACs

Typical Procedures

• Neuro, musculoskeletal (MSK), and body imaging
• Invasive CT procedures
• Cardiac imaging
• Pediatric imaging

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• ARRT (R) Certification
• BLS Certification
• HHCCA - De-Escalation Skills - Healthcare Setting
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in radiology, including experience within the last year
• Experience with invasive CT imaging procedures
• Experience with emergency department trauma imaging
• Experience with stroke imaging

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment
• Cardiac CT imaging
• Venipuncture skills

Work Environment & Schedule

• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Possible weekend shifts
• Possible rotation to other shifts
• Potential on-call requirement (~12 hours/month)
