Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Arlington, Texas

Unit and Work Environment

• Documentation system used: Meditech
• Floating policy: As needed
• Call requirements and weekend shifts to be discussed during the interview
• Dress code:

  • Scrubs required (specific color not stated)
  • Nails must be clean and healthy; no artificial nails, gel, or similar enhancements
  • Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab
  • Facial hair (beards, mustaches, sideburns) must be clean and neatly trimmed
  • Tattoos should be covered whenever possible; uncovered body art addressed individually
  • Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited (e.g., nose rings, tongue rings)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
• Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with adult patients, including adult critical care experience
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NBRC

Preferred Skills

• Experience with adult critical care patients
• Specialty/unit certifications related to respiratory therapy are preferred

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Unit emphasizes adherence to company-wide attendance policies
• Candidates without the required certifications and experience will not be considered
