Travel RN Opportunity – Medical-Surgical Unit

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: 3rd Surgical
• Number of Beds: 27
• Staffing:

  • 5-6 RNs and 2-3 LNAs per shift
  • Day Shift: Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, Unit Coordinator (Monday-Friday)
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, RNs, 2-3 LNAs
• Patient Ratios: 5-6 patients per nurse
• Equipment: Hoyer lift, Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) machine, Code Cart
• EMR System: Used on unit

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years experience in Med-Surg, Orthopedics, or Bariatrics

Typical Procedures

• Orthopedic surgeries including knees, hips, shoulder, cervical
• Bariatric procedures

Schedule

• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• On-call requirements included

Dress Code

• Scrubs with no specific color requirement
