Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Denver, Colorado

Job Details

  • Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
  • Shift: Day shift, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Schedule:
    • 4 x 9-hour shifts
    • Rotating weekends (1-2 weekends in a 6-week schedule)
    • Call 1-2 nights per week in a 6-week schedule (no call if experienced in stimming)
  • Unit: Electrophysiology (EP) + Cath Lab
  • Facility Size: 480 beds, 4 cath labs
  • Staff on Unit: 9
  • Patient Ratios: Not specified
  • Equipment Used: Philips, GE, Carto, Ensite
  • EMR Systems: Meditech, GE Mac Lab

Required Qualifications

  • Certifications:
    • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) required
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Cath Lab Tech Certification
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
    • Electrophysiology (EP) experience specifically in stimming is required
  • Personality Fit: Flexible

Typical Procedures Performed

  • Left Heart Catheterization (LHC) / Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  • Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
  • EP Study Ablation

Contract Length
