Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Overview

  • Travel assignment in Ocala, Florida
  • 36 hours per week
  • 4 ten-hour shifts with rotating call
  • Weekdays with call

Unit

  • Cardiac Cath Lab
  • 3 labs
  • Patient ratio: 3:1
  • May float to nearby sister hospital West Marion for STEMI call

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
  • Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • RCIS
  • Experience with electrophysiology (EP)

Procedures / Skills

  • Right and left heart catheterization, diagnostic and intervention
  • Peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures

Equipment / Documentation

  • GE lab
  • Impella
  • Balloon pump
  • Penumbra
  • IVUS
  • Merge Hemo documentation

Additional Notes

  • Provided OR scrubs
  • Call and STEMI policies apply
