• Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• Shift is fixed (not flexible)
• Typical day shift hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Unit Overview

• Unit has 8 staff members
• Day shift staff includes 1 RN and 6 outpatient therapists (LMFT or LCSW licensed)
• Patient groups: 5 groups per day, approximately 10 patients per group
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate psychotherapy and psychosocial skills groups
• Document group sessions in Meditech
• Conduct psychosocial assessments
• Update treatment plans
• Participate in treatment team meetings
• Assist with discharge planning
• Perform safety assessments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license in California with at least 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• Master’s degree (MA) in social work; bachelor’s level education is not acceptable
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience and/or licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
• Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience running psychotherapy or skills groups
