Physical Therapist (Travel) – Decatur, Texas

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Location: Decatur, Texas
• Contract Length: 12 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 (typical schedule Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM)
• Work Setting: Physical Therapy department with potential floating to Inpatient Rehab, Acute, or Outpatient Rehab areas
• Clinic Hours: Outpatient clinic open Monday-Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with flexible hours for outpatient physical therapists

Unit Information

• Staff includes 3 full-time Physical Therapists, 1 Physical Therapist Assistant, and 3 PRN Physical Therapists
• Equipment available: Hoyer Lift, Treadmill, Elliptical, Sci Fit
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems used: Meditech Magic, ReDoc/NetHealth
• No night shift or on-call requirements

Typical Procedures

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment of patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinic settings
• Experience working with neurological patients
