• 97-bed acute care hospital with surgical services including robotics
• 24-hour Emergency Department
• Intensive Care Unit and extensive medical imaging
• Specialty services: Orthopedics and Spine, Cardiac Catheterization Lab, robotic-assisted surgery
• Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery on the fourth floor

Position Details

• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
• Call Requirements: None
• Float Requirements: Rare; only to units appropriate to skill or as a "set of hands"
• Electronic Health Record (EHR) system: Meditech
• Patient Population: All ages (full age spectrum)
• Patient Type: Standard ER patients
• Personality Fit: Team-oriented, self-motivated, and self-sufficient

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
