Overview

Travel RN position in Albany, New York
Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New York
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Clinical Experience / Skills

Competent in care of medical and surgical populations
Advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage per titration protocols
Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, arterial lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols, HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent

Patient Population

Progressive critical care patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multisystem organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
Average patient load: 3 high-acuity patients

Work Environment Notes

Navy blue scrubs required
Local candidates are not accepted
