- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an inpatient setting
- Experience with Epic
Experience / Skills
- Acute care RN experience
- Epic experience
Role Summary
- Provides direct nursing care for a group of patients in a progressive care unit
- Performs assessments, develops and implements care plans, evaluates patient responses, and provides patient/family education
- Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, and participates in quality and safety improvement efforts
