Location
- Louisville, Kentucky
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Day shift
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts
- Every 3rd weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting
- Proficiency in neuro care
- Experience with Epic
Role Summary
- Provides direct nursing care for a group of patients in a progressive care unit
- Performs assessments, develops and implements plans of care, evaluates patient response, and provides patient/family education
- Delegates tasks, mentors/precepts staff, and participates in quality, safety, and practice improvement efforts
