Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (5 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
ACLS
BLS
Conscious Sedation
NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

CCRN
1 year of travel experience

Assignment Details

May float to ICU, ED, PACU, and IMC units to care for ICU and IMC patients

Key Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients
Administer medications and treatments
Monitor and document patient condition, response to care, and progress toward goals
Perform and document nursing procedures using sterile technique and standard precautions
Communicate changes in patient condition and use SBAR for handoffs
Follow critical care protocols, safety standards, infection control policies, and unit-specific policies
