Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary

Perform nursing responsibilities specific to the Emergency Department (ED) scope of service.
Conduct initial patient assessments upon admission and develop appropriate care plans based on patient and family needs.
Implement and modify nursing interventions and care plans through continuous evaluation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
Ensure patient and staff safety by identifying, reporting, and correcting safety hazards.
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, and families to promote a healing environment.
Provide constructive feedback to peers and engage in professional development activities.

Contract Length

Approximately 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience, including Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
