Location: Greenville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 36 hours per week
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a patient ratio of 1:2.
- May float to other inpatient units with varying patient ratios:
- Intermediate Care: 1:4-5
- General Care: 1:5-7 (possibly 1:5-8 in community hospitals)
- Work includes Level 1 Trauma care.
- Floating between multiple nearby hospitals within the region (approximately 35-40 minutes travel between sites).
- Shift assignments communicated on the day of the shift to allow travel planning.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
