Registered Nurse - ICU

Location: Greenville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift Hours: 36 hours per week


Job Description

  • Provide nursing care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a patient ratio of 1:2.
  • May float to other inpatient units with varying patient ratios:
    • Intermediate Care: 1:4-5
    • General Care: 1:5-7 (possibly 1:5-8 in community hospitals)
  • Work includes Level 1 Trauma care.
  • Floating between multiple nearby hospitals within the region (approximately 35-40 minutes travel between sites).
  • Shift assignments communicated on the day of the shift to allow travel planning.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
