Overview

Travel assignment in Stevens Point, Wisconsin
13-week contract
Start date: ASAP
36 guaranteed hours per week
12-hour nights

Required Qualifications

WI or compact RN license
AHA or ARC BLS
ADN or BSN
2+ years of Medical-Surgical experience
2+ years of Ortho experience
1 completed travel assignment required
Epic experience required

Unit Details

32-bed medical/surgical unit
Patient mix includes ortho, general, urology, and ENT
Ratios: days/pm 1:4-5; nights 1:6-7
2nd floor unit with 3 levels of care: ICU, Stepdown, and Med-Surg
Would take Med/Surg patients only if floated

Float / Call Expectations

Must be willing to float to like units, including Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior
May be low censused and put on call
Call back minimum is 2 hours

Additional Notes

Radius rule: contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Any professional-colored scrubs
Flu season policy requires masking at all times for travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination
