Job Overview

Travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Medical-surgical float team role
13-week contract
Start: ASAP
12-hour day or night shifts
Guaranteed hours: 36–48 per week
Floating may include observation, cardiac, medical, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care units
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
No on-call or call-back requirements

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Float experience within the last year
1 year of float experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS certification, with completion required before the end of orientation
Experience with venipuncture
Experience with Cardizem administration
Experience with ports
Experience with Foley/straight catheterization
Experience with stable drips
Cardiology experience
Orthopedics experience
Transitional Care Unit experience

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel experience
Epic charting experience within the past 2 years

Additional Notes

Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
NIHSS certification is provided at no charge through the facility’s training platform
Orientation includes 8 unpaid hours
Scrubs should not have bright colors or character prints
