RN - Vascular Access Nurse

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: 13 weeks (94 days ≈ 13 weeks)
Shift: Day shift (07:00 - 17:30), 7 days on / 7 days off, Monday through Sunday

No call required
Every other weekend required

Job Summary

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating vascular access nursing care to patients following professional nursing practice standards.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum of 1 year of vascular access experience within the last year
Competency in ultrasound-guided peripheral IV (USG-PIV) placement
Strong interpersonal skills for empathetic patient management and interdisciplinary collaboration
Critical thinking skills to apply vascular access knowledge in various clinical scenarios
