Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12 hours

Setting: Level I Trauma Center, Pediatric Certified by State, Comprehensive Stroke Center
Capacity: 20 beds, 5 Trauma, 10 OBS, hallway beds
Fast Track: 6 beds
Triage: 3 triage beds

Required Qualifications

BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
TNCC
Recent Level I or Level II trauma experience
Driver’s license required at submittal
Must be outside the 50-mile radius
Cannot be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
RNs must read and interpret their own strips

Preferred Qualifications

Schedule / Operations

Leadership will make the schedule
Weekend and holiday requirements vary based on department needs
Floating: OBS unit and Freestanding Creighton ER at least once a week
1 week of onboarding, plus 2 shifts at Bergan and 1 shift at UC

Additional Notes

Fast paced, high acuity
Pass/fail exam during orientation; 90% required to pass
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care
