Job Details

Shift: Night (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Load: Approximately 35 visits per day
Unit Size: 8-10 rooms/beds
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Total Staffed Beds: 68
Charting System: EPIC
Parking: Free employee parking available

Job Description

Adult service with primary care Emergency Department (ED)
No trauma cases
Stabilize pediatric patients and transfer to appropriate care
Floating within scope to ICU and Medical-Surgical areas as needed
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
First-time travel nurses not accepted
Local candidates not accepted (must be outside 75-mile radius)
Pending license accepted
Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: 7 days

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri (pending licenses accepted)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required
