Travel/contract RN role in San Diego, California
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 22 weeks
All contracts end on 1/16/2027
Float pool assignment across 4 locations, with possible floating to ED inpatient overflow and down to med-surg if census permits

Valid RN license in California
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV start experience
Phlebotomy experience
A-line experience

Must work 2 of the 3 listed holidays:
- Christmas Day and Christmas Eve
- Thanksgiving Day and the day after
- New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
No blocked scheduling or self-scheduling
Schedule is released 2 weeks in advance
Candidate will be told the assigned facility by phone 2 hours before the shift

Primary assignment is PCU float
May also be assigned to a new east campus unit if it becomes active during the contract
That potential unit would require cardiology and neuro skills
