MS/Tele Float
Role
- Travel/contract Registered Nurse assignment in Oakland, California.
- Home location: Highland Hospital.
- Float scope: Alameda Hospital and San Leandro if critical need arises, with 4–6 hours’ notice before shift; will not be asked to float mid-shift.
Schedule
- Day shift, 3x12 hours: 7:00–19:30.
- 36 hours per week.
- Firm assignment dates: 11/2/26–2/27/2027.
- Candidate must work 2–3 holidays based on unit needs.
- Maximum RTO is 7 days; holiday RTO is unlikely to be approved.
- Blackout dates: Nov 22–Nov 30 and Dec 21–Jan 4.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Float experience within the last year
- 3 years of experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Telemetry - remote monitoring
- Use of Rapid Response Teams
- Blood Product Administration
- Phlebotomy
- Starting IVs
- Non-invasive airway management

- Assignment dates are firm; candidates who cannot commit to the dates should not be submitted.
- There may be a potential extension.
