Labor and Delivery

Role Overview

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position in Charlottesville, Virginia.
13-week assignment on nights, 36 hours per week.
Clinical review and auto offer.

Schedule

Every other holiday and every other weekend.
Must work 2 of the 3 winter holidays.
Up to 40 hours of time off can be approved.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

BSN is preferred; if the candidate does not have a BSN, ASN is required.

Unit / Clinical Setting

Average annual deliveries: 2000
Private Labor Rooms: 8
Private Triage Beds: 4
OB Operating Rooms: 2
Low Risk includes certified nurse midwife population
High Risk includes maternal fetal medicine

Float / Cross-Training

Expected to cross-train to Mother/Baby.
May float to NICU (feeders/grower).
