Emergency Room Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Cleveland, Ohio
- Night shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- Must work at least every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC certification
Orientation / Onboarding Requirements
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate exam are completed during orientation and must be passed
- Background check required before start
- Fingerprinting required before start
- Education verification required
- Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
- 2 references required from employment within the past year
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Tdap vaccination or documentation current within 10 years
- TB screening within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
- Drug screen within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption required
