Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Augusta, Georgia
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• 12-week contract
• Adults to Geriatrics patient population
• Unit has 16 beds with an average daily census of 16
• Ratio: 1:5
• Floating is required within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 1 year of telemetry experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with Epic
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Must pass the Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
• Must complete a negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start
• Must complete TB screening or documentation as specified in the source
• Must complete required immunization/documentation items listed in the source
• Must provide a photo ID
• Must provide verification of most recent employer
• Must provide 2 clinical references
• Must complete skills checklist within 12 months
• Must complete physical exam documentation within 12 months of start
• Must complete color blind testing
• Must complete competency exam
• Must complete medication test/pharmacology competency exam
• Must complete background check and education verification requirements
• Must complete NURSYS verification

Preferred

• Charge Nurse experience requested

Scheduling Notes

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period
• No call required
• One major holiday expected if it falls during the assignment; two if two fall during the assignment; two of three if three fall during the assignment
• RTO maximum: 7 days
• Spring Break blackout dates: April 4th–12th

Additional Notes

• Navy blue scrubs
• Clinical screening will be used to determine fit before manager review
• Non-billable orientation hours depend on contract length
