Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in South Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedics experience
Experience with Epic

Scheduling and Work Expectations

Every other weekend; 6 weekend shifts
First-time travelers accepted
Local candidates accepted within radius rule criteria
Requests for time off, block scheduling, and special scheduling must be included with submission and are subject to facility approval
Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on qualified competencies

EPIC experience required

Unit Details

Adult 26-bed orthopedic spine unit
Typical patient ratio: 1:5-6
Focus includes spinal surgeries, integrated pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support

Pending license not accepted

Pre-assignment testing and online orientation modules are required before start
