PICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Location: Oakland, California
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Contract length: 13 weeks
Floating: May float to other facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (5 years of experience)
PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatric CVICU experience

Additional Notes

Two supervisory references are required
A current resume with the last 7 years of work history is required
Unit-specific skills checklist required
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Fit mask testing required within 1 year of start
Drug testing required within 30 days of start
TB screening and immunization documentation are required
Flu vaccination or facility-specific declination required during flu season
COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but is strongly recommended
