Job Overview
- Travel/contract role in La Jolla, California
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule / Work Expectations
- Scheduled Sunday through Saturday
- May be required to float to like units or lower-acuity units across the organization, excluding the ED
- Required to work 4 weekend shifts in each 4-week cycle
- Must work at least one holiday, including the holiday weekend
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- CVICU experience within the last year
- 1 year of CVICU experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
Compliance / Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- N95 fit test within 1 year of start
- Tdap vaccination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation
- Hepatitis B vaccination series, titer, or signed declination
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccination or declination
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Additional Notes
- Scrubs are not color-restricted
- OR and L&D scrubs are provided by the facility
- EPIC or Cerner experience of at least 6 months is expected for RN candidates
- Pyxis acknowledgment is required before start
- Scripps learning modules must be completed by the document due date
- Confidentiality agreement and standards of conduct acknowledgment are required before start
