Travel/Contract Registered Nurse — Rehab

Overview

• Location: Hazard, Kentucky
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day; 3x12 or 4x12 schedule, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours per week: 36
• Employment type: Travel/Contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Rehabilitation (1 year of experience)
• Rehabilitation experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
• Experience in a(n) Rehabilitation setting
• Driver's License

Schedule and Work Expectations

• 1:6 patient ratio
• Float within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling is not available
• Standard schedule is 36/48 for the two-week pay period unless otherwise noted

Compliance and Onboarding

• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Valid driver’s license required
• Assignment confirmation must be uploaded within 24 hours of accepting the offer
• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Start date listed on the job is the required start date

Additional Notes

• References: 2 references within 1 year of start date, with at least one from a supervisor or higher
• Work history verification for the past 7 years is required
• Background check, drug screen, and health documentation are required prior to start
