Travel Contract RN Job

Job Overview

• Specialty: Medical-surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Location: Lancaster, South Carolina
• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:6 to 1:7
• Floating: Required to like units with like patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Work Expectations

• No on-call requirement
• Attendance at staff meetings is required
• All assigned modules must be completed before the start date

Preferred Experience

• Telemetry
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias

Additional Notes

• Locals are accepted
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Hurricane season assignments may include emergency response team duties
