Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Cottonwood, Arizona
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• May float between two med-surg telemetry units and where most needed
• Every other weekend required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted
• On-call: none

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Key Job Details

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4/5
• Traveler will work in a flex pool
• Strong med-surg/tele experience is preferred by the unit
• ICU/PCU experience is a plus
• Unit manager approval is required for requested time off

Work Environment

• Short-term acute care teaching facility with Level IV trauma designation
• Standard med-surg/tele equipment
• Cerner charting
• Navy blue scrubs
