Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Monroe, Michigan
• Mixed unit PCU, Med Surg/Tele, and Med Surg
• 12-hour night shifts, 4x12 schedule
• Ratios: 1:4-5
• Adults and geriatrics

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Acute Care experience
• Experience with Epic

Schedule and Coverage

• Every other weekend required
• 12 weekend shifts per contract
• No on-call
• No block schedule

Float Scope

• May float to other areas as needed, including ICU, ER, and Behavioral Health

• Intermediate Care Unit
• Pilot Team Nursing Model
• Telemetry
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Patient diagnoses include Covid, Stroke, NSTEMI, Chest Pain, AKI, Pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, CHF exacerbation, Cellulitis, and AMS

• Short-term acute care, Level 1 Trauma Center
• 25 staffed beds

• 2 pre-approved time-off requests per contract
