Electrophysiology Tech

Overview

Travel/Contract role in York, Pennsylvania
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
No weekends, call, or holidays
Must be available to stay until the last patient is cared for
Floating as needed
RTO max: 7 days

Unit

Invasive Cardiology
Unit includes 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, 2 shared cath/EP labs, and 33 prep/recovery bays
The unit completes over 6,000 procedures per year

Required Qualifications

Electrophysiology Technician with 2 years of experience
Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience with Epic

Clinical Scope

Advanced cardiovascular procedures including complex coronary procedures, VAD/ECMO, structural heart procedures, TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO/ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker/ICD implant & explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention, and pulmonary embolectomy procedures
May care for COVID patients
