- Temp role in Des Moines, Iowa

- 26-week contract
- Traveler must float across all campuses
Unit / Setting
- Cardiovascular Operating Room / CVOR
- 16 ORs
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Average caseload: 35-50 cases per day
- Scrub or circulate is preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CVOR (2 years of experience)
- CVOR experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment within the previous 15 months
- Driver's License
- Experience in the general operating room (OR)
- Strong and proficient experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery
- Basic general surgery circulating experience
- OR Circulate experience
- Scrub experience including open heart scrubbing
- Trauma Level II experience
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Trauma Level I experience
- Professional reference / reference check from within the last 24 months
Additional Details
- NBO: 16 hours
- Scrubs provided
- Holiday coverage required: 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
