Schedule / Work Conditions

• 16 hours per day
• Approximately 9 patients per shift
• Works with another tech aide or MRI tech/traveler; does not work solo
• After midnight, the department is covered by call
• Must be willing to work weekends and evenings
• Must be willing to take call as needed
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed:

  • Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and the weekend after
  • Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after
  • New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after

Required Qualifications

• MRI Technologist with 2 years of experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (MR)
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• GE Equipment experience

Documentation / Submission Requirements

• Work history
• Skills checklist current to 1 year
• 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment
• Any requested time off must be included at submission
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted

Additional Notes

• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred
• 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Travelers without voicemail set up may be redirected
