Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacist license in Massachusetts
- 1 year of Pharmacist experience within the last year
Role Summary
- Dispenses research medication to subjects enrolled in clinical trials
- Ensures medication orders comply with approved protocols
- Reviews protocol documents and drafts dispense instructions
- Oversees safe handling and preparation of investigational sterile and non-sterile medications
- Oversees technician activities and performs quality control checks
- Provides drug information to other healthcare professionals
- Participates in sponsor monitoring visits and audits
- Reviews new protocols and amendments for drug safety and feasibility
- Promotes a culture of safety and follows department practices and policies
- Serves as a liaison between clinical trials pharmacy, compounding, and other pharmacy areas
- Reviews patient medications for appropriateness and drug interactions
- Complies with state and federal laws related to pharmacy and investigational drug use

- Resume including the past 7 years of work experience, with city and state for all work experience and education
- 2 references from within the past 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or above
