RN Telemetry Float Pool

Overview

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Employment type: LTA
• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; day/evening/night rotation with every other weekend
• Floating: Must be willing to float to 8 different units across med/surg telemetry areas
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Responsibilities

• Cardiac monitoring
• Managing cardiac drips
• Reading telemetry strips
• Telemetry monitoring, including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours
• TR band experience
• Care for ED border patients, medication patients in an acute mental health unit, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• 2 years of experience working as a Traveler

• ACLS
• License/certification verification
• Fit test and respirator medical clearance, if required for the skill

• TB test documentation
