Pediatric RN (Massachusetts)

Job Details

• Location: Charlestown, Massachusetts
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Predominantly evening shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm), with rotation to day shift as needed (7:00am - 3:30pm)
• Shift Length: 8-hour shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Medical-Surgical experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with Pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Documentation of TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break >6 months
• Fit test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
• Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella)
• Physician health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
• Criminal background check, including Massachusetts CORI, National Sex Offender Check, and exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid lists) within required timeframes
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Education verification of highest level achieved
• References: 2 professional references within 4 years, including at least 1 supervisor or higher in relevant skillset

• Skills checklist completed within 1 year
• Candidate submission coversheet (current version)
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for extensions

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not specified as required
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray after the positive test
• Hepatitis B and Tdap vaccines are strongly preferred but not mandatory
• Name change documentation required if legal name differs from credential documentation
