Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Shift: 12-hour Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for very high acuity patients, including neonates from 22 weeks gestation and older.
Care involves intensive therapies such as:
- Total body cooling
- Conventional ventilator support up to High Frequency Oscillator Ventilation
- Inhaled nitric oxide administration
- Vasopressor and sedation continuous IV drips
- Central line maintenance
- Neonatal resuscitation

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license appropriate for the state of Georgia.
Experience in NICU nursing with high acuity neonatal patients.

Additional Notes

No local candidates available within 50 miles, indicating a need for travel or relocation.
Schedule and shift times may vary but primarily 12-hour night shifts.
