Registered Nurse (Oncology) - Travel Position

Location: Lewiston, Maine
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

Work on a Med-Surg/Oncology unit with a Trauma Level III designation
36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
No call requirements
Float to all inpatient areas

Unit & Patient Population

Patient ratio: 1:6
Equipment used: Wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, Baxter IV Pumps
Common diagnoses and treatments: Cancer, Diabetes Mellitus (DM), Pneumonia (PNA), General Surgery
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR (EPIC starting 5/1/26)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
Minimum 3 years of Oncology nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BCLS or BLS certification
Experience with Wound Vacs, Prevena Vacs, and Baxter IV Pumps
Experience caring for patients with Cancer

Additional Information

Focus on relationship-based care and flexibility in scheduling
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
