Special Procedures Tech - Radiology

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Unit: Interventional Radiology (IR)
Number of Beds: 2 VI rooms and hybrid OR
Staffing: 3-4 technologists per day
Equipment: Acuson Juniper and Acuson P500
Documentation System: Allscripts
Shift: Day shift with rotating call
Dress Code: Any color scrubs

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in New Hampshire
Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
ARRT (R) Certification
BLS Certification

Additional Information

Advanced skills in IR procedures required
No patient ratio or floating policy specified
Unit offers exposure to advanced imaging equipment and hybrid OR environment

Nurses do all their own vitals (not sure how that’s even possible on dayshift), limited resources, morale was low due to recent buyout by HCA
