Physical Therapy IP

Overview

• Travel assignment in Manchester, New Hampshire
• Inpatient Physical Therapy unit
• Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends
• Shift start is flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM; shifts end between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM
• 36 hours per week
• Contract length: 12 weeks

Unit Details

• 330-bed hospital
• Average patient load is about 10 patients per 8-hour day
• Department covers all inpatient units and the ED, but does not cover NICU patients
• Typical patient mix includes higher volumes of cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic patients
• Procedures performed: evaluations and treatment
• Equipment includes basic rehab equipment, portable parallel bars, portable stairs, Sara Stedy, ceiling lifts, and hyper lifts
• Documentation system: Sunrise Allscripts

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in New Hampshire
• Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS
• Experience in an Acute Care setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Vestibular experience

Additional Notes

• Weekend shifts are self-selected
• Daily patient assignments are generally kept to 1–2 floors
• Team includes PT, OT, ST, and a Therapy Director
