Job Overview

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Nevada
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2 years of experience
• Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• One 13-week or more of total travel experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Experience in a Critical Care setting

Job Responsibilities

• Provides respiratory therapy procedures for patients from newborn to geriatric ages
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates respiratory care
• May initiate, modify, refine, transition, discontinue, and restart therapy under protocol
• Responsible for documentation of patient records and department logs
• Provides direct patient care

Work Conditions

• May float to organizational needs up to competency level
• May be required to work major holidays
• May be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Low-census call-off may occur up to 48 hours without penalty
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment
